Finely carved stonework in the Alhambra. I regret I don't know the meaning of the words, but to those who do, no offence is intended by my reproduction of them. Posted by Hello

If proof were needed that Tom is enjoying his new life at university, this photo may provide the evidence..... Posted by Hello

Friday, October 01, 2004

Well, it's 1st October 2004, and Tom is about to go off to Cambridge, leaving the two of us to rattle round in the house like real empty-nesters.

We take him up on Sunday 3rd October, and will probably take two cars to get his stuff in, though knowing him he may pack more lightly than we expect.

To mark the ocassion, Judith and I are going to take him out to a restaurant in Bath tomorrow after the Bath v Gloucester game, so that should be fun. More anon.... Posted by Hello
